Good afternoon everyone! Happy Hump Day to you all! Today I have a lovely new Pixie to share from Zoya’s new Magical Pixie line. I was really torn between reviews and my love for Pixies but finally decided to take my chances. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised…..again!
Lux is a rose quartz textured blend that is loaded with holographic glitter in various sizes. A lot of people say these were a little too chunky for them and hard to apply but I really liked the larger glitter swimming about. Application was super easy and the large glitter was well spaced out. In my photos I am wearing three coats of Lux and no top coat.
Now for a few pics with a top coat. That is another reason why I like the Pixie lines, a top coat creates another great look. I used two coats of Gelous to smooth it out.
So what do you guys think of the chunkier Pixies? Once again, I am in love. I must own all of the Pixies! I like them a whole lot more in the bottle than out of it, but I am also really leery of textured polishes.
So far the Zoya and Emerald & Ash are the only textured blends that I have liked. Some look too….. plastic.
