Good afternoon! I hope you are all having a great Tuesday! Today I am back with yet another neat product I found at Cosmoprof North America. Uni Organics immediately caught my eye when I noticed their organic self tanner. As someone who is terrified of skin cancer, my uncle died from melanoma and both my dad and grandmother having spots removed, I try to be a little cautious when it comes to sun exposure. Sadly at a young age it was engrained that healthy is tan and my skin has suffered from early life mistakes. Now in life I am trying to use sunblock more and rely on self tanners for giving my skin a little color. I have been using self tanners for about 4 years now and overall have been mostly satisfied with the results. The one thing that I have always hated with the god awful self tanner smell. Those who use know what I am talking about. With that being said, when I saw the organic labeling on Uni Organics self tanner I was intrigued. Maybe less chemicals would mean less smell, and guess what….it’s totally right! This stuff has a pleasant sweet scent that does turn to that chemical stench. Uni Organics uses beetroot and grapeseed extract to create a warm coloring with out orange coloring.
You can see in my photos that this stuff has some easy results. Left is no tanner, middle is one use, and last is two uses. The first application I put on directly after showering and I believer my skin may not have been super dry so the lotion was slightly diluted in the application process. The second application I waited a full hour after showering and you can see the coloring is much richer. One thing I love to note is the lotion is not tinted so you will not have color transfer to your clothing or bed sheets. I wore this each time overnight.
So what do you guys think of my results? Overall I was pretty pleased, the no color transfer and pleasant smell were huge selling features to me. Now if tanners aren’t your thing, Uni Organics also has TONS of great skin care products that are all natural and sure to treat your needs. Woah! That looks real! My legs are the same shade as the left most photo – almost invisible….I see all my veins. 🙂 I’m paranoid about sun exposure as well. i love safer alternatives that make me feel more confident.
Oh yes, I know the visible vein issue all too well! It makes me super uncomfortable so I love being able to add a little color safely, and hide those veins and scars.
That’s not bad. My issue is that I always get splotchy areas.
This stuff was super easy to apply and I really didn’t have any splotchy areas. Only downside, and this is with any self tanner, as it wears off you can get a little splotchy.
Wow – your results look amazing! It’s definitely the time of year that my tan is fading but I’m still wearing shorts. I’ll have to look into this product 🙂
I totally agree! Those random hot days where you want to wear shorts come out of nowhere! This is a great quick fix!

The no fake tan odor was simply amazing!!! I don’t know how I could use anything else now!
