Good evening everyone! I am super excited to share some Femme Fatale with you guys this tonight! I was so excited when I got an email saying I was going to be receiving one of their press kits and I have been stalking my mailbox ever since. Yesterday my packet showed up and once opening my excitement grew even more!
First up I would like to share The Fruitcake Is Not A Lie and probably my favorite in the kit. This blend is part of a trio of lacquers to create their Christmas line up for 2013. Now I must admit, this is one of the few times I get excited over fruitcake but I’m sure you guys will too! The Fruitcake Is Not A Lie is a brown jelly base with a shimmer brown and packed with magenta squares, chocolate hexes, and accents of red, orange and green glitters. Femme Fatale recommends pairing this jelly with a coordinating base so I went with Julep Olivia. My photos are shown with just one coat of The Fruitcake Is Not A Live overtop Olivia and sealed with a good coat of Gelous.
Next up is The Other Side Of The World. What a cute name for a lacquer by an Australian maker?! The Other Side Of The World is a sheer purple jelly with a reddish shimmer and packed with orange, iridescent, purple and pink glitters in various sizes and shapes. This is such a fun bright combination! I used just one coat overtop Avon Vivid Violet and sealed with my Gelous.
So what do you guys think of the two tonight? I love both of them but The Fruitcake Is Not A Lie is the one I get most excited about.
