Zoya Chyna

August 6, 2013 by Nina 4 Comments

Good afternoon everyone!  I am back today with an amazing polish that totally surprised me.  When I first saw textured blends I said “nope, not for me.”  I had no desire to own any and really wasn’t looking for one.  Then Zoya ran a promo buy Liberty and get two blends free.  I excitedly went to their site only to realize it was a Pixie, their texture line, blend.  I really loved the color though so figured I would buy it cause I could always wear a top coat to smooth it out.  Next came the time to pick out my two free ones, might as well stick with the Pixie’s.  So here I am now eating my words…… Pixie’s are amazing and I want them all!  I ended up wearing Chyna first and I LOVE it!  This stuff looks gorgeous!  I did as suggested by Zoya and wore this with no base or top coat.  I only needed two coats to get full opacity and the stuff dried insanely quick.  I am hooked!

Pretty?  My pictures really just do not do this stuff justice.  It’s one of those you have to see for yourself.  Now to share the versatile side of Chyna and my back up plan for if I hadn’t liked the texture.  I put a high gloss top coat on it….. OMG!

So what do you think?  What’s the next one I should buy once my no buy is over?  If you like what you see be sure to check out this one and other great blends from Zoya.  Thank you so much for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing you guys again tomorrow! <3

Liberty was not this shiny without a top coat- it didn’t even seem as textured as yours either, but I REALLY lurve it. It wore great, technically I didn’t need to remove it after the third day, but I wanted to do some swatches. If that’s Gelous over it in the bottom pics, I must get it!

Um, I know to moderate, but why does it say my post is “forbidden” and “off topic”…how does IT know that? LOL

i wanted to add, I did two coats base and it did indeed still stain. Thicker coats next time, maybe?

Hahaha, sorry about the moderator! Silly computers! Yes the pics are with my Gelous. For a crazy gloss and quick dry use the Gelous and then a coat of Seche Vite. 😉 I am wearing the Liberty now so we’ll see how the staining is, I used two thick coats of base coat.

Good afternoon! I hope you are all having a wonder Good afternoon! I hope you are all having a wonderful Thanksgiving Weekend! Naturally, I am working around the house this long weekend and doing some Christmas decorating. Before closing out the month, I wanted to hop on and share some updates. This month just flew by, and I am not in the Christmas spirit yet! November was packed with things: Zelda is finally vaccinated and can go out in public, we took a trip to Flordia to visit family, and we had a significant audit at work....

It was a crazy week at home with appointments, taking care of a sick puppy, and managing a household, but I wanted to share some more lovely lacquers from SuperChic Lacquer. Today, I have Psycho from SuperChic Lacquer to share. This was just the perfect silver holographic crackle shade for Halloween since it was inspired by the film Psycho, and I thought a red glitter base would be the ideal pairing....
