Wavy Nail Vinyls from Born Pretty Store

Good evening everyone!  I hope you are all having a wonderful evening!  Tonight I am dropping in to share one of  my latest nail art looks thanks to Born Pretty Store and their nail vinyl stencils. I have been using vinyls for quiet some time now and I love the fun looks you can create with endless color options so when I saw Born Pretty Store offered stencils, I had to give them a try.  Sadly, I had nothing but trouble.  I just couldn’t get them to lay right and get crisp lines.  I’m not sure what I did wrong but after multiple attempts, I had to scrap the full design idea and use the left over wavy strips for nail art.

For my ladybug/vintage dress look I started off with three thin coats of Turks & Chaos by Chaos & Crocodiles.  Next I used vinyl wavy strips from Born Pretty Store and Storm by Zoya to create wavy black tips.  I didn’t care for just the black tips so I next used a medium sized dotting tool and Storm to create some dots.  The look ended up having a ladybug feel or as my BFF Krise pointed out, a vintage party dress.  I sealed everything with two coats of Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat by SuperChic Lacquer.

So what do you guys think of my ladybug/party dress nails using Born Pretty Store vinyls?  I love the color combo!!!  I really wish the vinyls had worked out better because these colors in a wavy chevron type pattern would have looked awesome!  You can pick up tons of great products from Born Pretty Store and remember to use code AEL91 for 10% off you order.  Thank you so much for stopping by tonight and I will see you all again tomorrow.

Products provided for review but that does not influence my opinions.

Sorry that the stencils didn’t work – the wavy strip tips are very pretty. Love that base colour.

It sucks that you struggled with these – vinyls are my personal enemy 🙁

I struggle with vinyls too. But I love all the sparkle in this mani!

I’m quite impressed with Born Pretty’s selection for nail stuff. I think nail vinyls are so fun but I suck at them too.

I’ve found that BP vinyls aren’t the easiest to work with either. There are plenty of other brands that maybe have higher quality vinyls.

Doesn’t matter the brand, I can never get vinyls to work well for me. The end result
Is gorgeous. The color combo is just perfection.

I am pretty bad at nail vinyls so I can totally relate to your struggles. Some nail bloggers make them look so easy, haha 🙂
