Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful Wednesday! Today I am going to share another attempt at stamping and a fabulous new plate from Vivid Lacquer. I am trying my best to get the hang at stamping and clearly just need more practice so expect to see a lot of stamping in the future. That aside, Vivid Lacquer released some pretty amazing plates week before last and I immediately fell in love. If you are a Pyrex lover like me, you are really going to like the plate I am sharing today!
Plate VL 030 is a fun plate with Pyrex inspired designs. You have your Spring Blossom, Tulip, Barbwire, Friendship, and Woodland patterns! How freakin cool is this?! Now you can see why I was refreshing like crazy at release! I chose to go with the Spring Blossom, also sometimes referred to as the Crazy Daisy, pattern first. I picked up a casserole set with this pattern years ago for $3 and is one of my favorite finds to date. I used Julep Daphne as my base color, my metallic white from Konad for stamping, and a coat of HK Girl Fast Dry Top Coat to seal it all in.
So what do you guys think of my Pyrex inspired nails? I like to think I’m rocking the “worn” Pyrex look., hehehe. I also picked up one of Vivid Lacquer’s stampers and I have to say it is pretty handy. I felt I could get my sides a little better than when using a normal round stamper. All in all, I am pretty darn excited! I think I will try the Woodland pattern next. Way cute! Just getting a transfer at all was a total dream when I first started stamping. I’ve mostly got the hang of it now.
