Good evening everyone! I hope you are all having a lovely week so far! It’s been nothing but rain and more rain here in Alabama but they are finally calling for some sunshine this weekend. I have almost forgotten what clear skies and the sun look like! The south is generally known for wet and cloudy Winters but this year has been excessive. I am keeping my fingers crossed this isn’t the tread for February and still hoping for some snow. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it signals our chance of snow diminishing quickly.
Also with Valentine’s coming up, I’m running out of time to plan a fun little date night and share Valentine-inspired nail art. First, let’s dive into this week’s nail art. I rock nothing but pink and reds this time of year, so tonight won’t be much different. For today’s look, I started off with two coats of Jodi by Zoya. I then used the Born Pretty Stamping Plate BP 61 with Kristie by Zoya. Everything is sealed with two coats of High Gloss Top Coat by Cuccio Colour.
What do you guys think of today’s look? I don’t know what it is but pink on pink stamping, I always seem to love it! The hearts didn’t stamp solid so I did use my dotting tool to create fresh hearts over the stamped pattern and while that was a little extra work, I think the finished look is much more polished…ba dum tsh!
Now for Valentine’s Day celebration ideas. Sadly my boyfriend will be working that day, I did see a great idea for those crazy cat owners stuck sitting at home that night.
