Valentine Hearts with Cupcake Polish and Lina Nail Art

Happy Friday everyone! It has been a super long week for me and I am so glad the weekend is finally here! I’ve got some catching up to do in my office this evening and tomorrow, along with some dusty hunting and a few flea markets. I’m going to try and get as much as possible done so Sunday I can spend a relaxing day at home. The pandemic is keeping my home this holiday.

I am mixed on Valentine’s Day. While I want to love the holiday, it’s never really worked out much for me. I always have high hopes and put a ton of effort into the holiday with little if anything in return. I couldn’t tell you the last time I got flowers, I’ve never gotten a “gift”, or received chocolates. Even still, I still try year after year. Last year I planned a trip to Chatanooga for the Lantern Tour at Ruby Falls and who would have known this would be my last public outing for the year. Thanks to the pandemic, this year I will be playing it low key at home and avoiding all the holiday hype.

Even still you know I have to create some nail art for the holiday! With work, I haven’t been doing a lot of art, but I really wanted to do something fun for the holiday. I have to say, this might be my favorite Valentine’s Day look to date! For my heart mani, I started off with three coats of Copa Girls by Cupcake Polish. Next, I used black stamping polish and the All About Love plate from Lina Nail Art. Everything was sealed with two coats of Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat by SuperChic Lacquer.

So what do you guys think of this year’s look? I am so glad I pulled this Cupcake out of my stash, I forgot how beautiful of a shade it is!
