Two for Tuesday – Zoya and Scofflaw Nail Varnish

April 26, 2016 by Nina 28 Comments

Good evening everyone! I hope you are all having a great day!  Today I am back with another Two for Tuesday post.  I used two much loved lacquers with very different finishes for a unique combo.

For my pairing I used three coats of Whiskey Tango Foxtrot by Scofflaw Nail Varnish.  I then took color inspiration from the red glitters and used two coats of Amal by Zoya.  Amal is normally a matte finish but with a glossy top coat, it really sparkles.  Everything is sealed with a good coat of SuperChic Lacquer Liquid Macro Top Coat.

So what do you guys think of today’s combo?  I love them both on their own and together they make for a fun, unique combo.  Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again tomorrow!

The contrast between these two shades is what really makes the mani. I am super in love with that Zoya polish!

That red is AMAZING! I swatched my Matte Velvets and threw them in the Helmer drawer, but I’ll have to pull them out and top coat them!!

Naturally, I am working around the house this long weekend and doing some Christmas decorating. Before closing out the month, I wanted to hop on and share some updates. This month just flew by, and I am not in the Christmas spirit yet! November was packed with things: Zelda is finally vaccinated and can go out in public, we took a trip to Flordia to visit family, and we had a significant audit at work....

It was a crazy week at home with appointments, taking care of a sick puppy, and managing a household, but I wanted to share some more lovely lacquers from SuperChic Lacquer. Today, I have Psycho from SuperChic Lacquer to share. This was just the perfect silver holographic crackle shade for Halloween since it was inspired by the film Psycho, and I thought a red glitter base would be the ideal pairing....
