The Indie Shop Atlanta

March 28, 2017 by Nina 11 Comments

Good afternoon everyone!  I hope you are all having a wonderful day!  Today I finally have a peek in to The Indie Shop event that was recently held in Atlanta.  This was my first indie shopping event and while I was totally overwhelmed by all the awesomeness….I had a blast and can’t wait to go to more!!!  The Atlanta Indie Shop event had a total of 17 indie vendors offering nail polish, hand care products, nail art supplies, jewelry, and much more.  I really wish I had been able to get shots of everyone’s table but things got so busy so quick that it was virtually impossible.  That being said, I did get a few good shots and wanted to share what I could.

The Atlanta Indie Shop was held at the Double Tree.  This place was just stunning and the perfect size!  While it got very busy, we weren’t crammed in and could comfortable shop/hangout.

KBShimmer certainly had the biggest display! Christy was amazing as always!

Can I take this banner home?  It would look amazing in my office!!!

I love the lights!!!  Joy Lacquer had an adorable display, fun games for shoppers to play, and was all around awesome!

Pampered Polishes is a new to me brand and am thrilled to give them a try!

You better believe I stopped by the Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer booth!  So many pretties!!!!

And yes!!!! I finally got to meet Julie, the brains behind Blue-Eyed Girl!!!  We have been friends for year’s on the web but had yet to meet up.  This was certainly the highlight for me!

Colors by Llarowe had some gorgeous show exclusives and you know I had to get that teal!!!

The VIP goods!!! Well worth the price paid!!!!!  I will be swatching and sharing all of these on the blog in the future!

So what do you guys think of my first trip?  I had a blast!!!!  Again, while is was overwhelming I had a great time!  You certainly want to plan your trip out, make a list of what to buy and bring double your budget! I wish I had had more cash saved up but I am thrilled with what I did grab.  There were tons of amazing deals!!!  Be sure to keep your eyes out for an Indie Shop pop up near you, it is well worth the trip!!!  Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again soon!

What’s funny is when I lived in ATL, there were no events. Sad I missed this!! Hope you had SO much fun though! <3

So fun! I can’t wait to see all your manis with the polishes! I love TIS events – sad I missed the Atlanta one, but will be at the Los Angeles one this year and maybe another. I decided on PC in NYC instead of TIS. I felt guilty that all our vacation time is being centered around polish events! haha 🙂

Looks like a fab event! I hope to get to something like this someday.

PS – I would have had very little self-control and probably would have tried to steal that KBSHimmer banner… o.O <3

Naturally, I am working around the house this long weekend and doing some Christmas decorating. Before closing out the month, I wanted to hop on and share some updates. This month just flew by, and I am not in the Christmas spirit yet! November was packed with things: Zelda is finally vaccinated and can go out in public, we took a trip to Flordia to visit family, and we had a significant audit at work....

It was a crazy week at home with appointments, taking care of a sick puppy, and managing a household, but I wanted to share some more lovely lacquers from SuperChic Lacquer. Today, I have Psycho from SuperChic Lacquer to share. This was just the perfect silver holographic crackle shade for Halloween since it was inspired by the film Psycho, and I thought a red glitter base would be the ideal pairing....
