Good evening everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday. Today I have a brand new indie brand to share with you guys. I have had the great pleasure of swatching the debut collection by Joy Lacquer and I must say, overall these guys are pretty nice. Summer In Seattle Collection consists of 8 lovely shades inspired by various points of Seattle. Since this is such a large collection, I have broken them up in to two separate posts. Let’s take a look at the first half.
First up we have No Umbrella Zone. This is a pretty pale blue gray crelly with blue holographic glitter and gray shimmer. Application was smooth, easy formula to work with, but a little on the sheer side. In my photos I am wearing three coats of No Umbrella Zone and one coat of Gelous.
Next up we have Ride the Slut. This is a bright red shimmer. Again application and formula were fantastic, and this one built to great opacity. In my photos I am wearing just two coats of Ride the Slut.
Now for ’94 Grunge No More. This is a peach coral shimmer. I had to issues with this blend and the color is a wonderful neutral shade. In my photos I am wearing three coats of ’94 Grunge No More.
Lastly for today we have More Than A Barista. This is a bright grass green shimmer with flashes of gold flecks. This one was a little sheerer but still builds nicely. In my photos I am wearing three coats of More Than A Barista.
So what do you guys think of Joy Lacquer and their Summer In Seattle Collection so far? All in all they are pretty nice. Some are a little sheer but with care in application and a few coats, I am sure you could get rid of any visible nail line. Be sure to give Joy Lacquer a follow on Facebook and Instagram for up to date info and tons of great pics. Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again tomorrow.
These products were sent to me for review but that does not influence my opinion.
