Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are all having a lovely Tuesday! I got off a little early today, pulling 6 days this week, so I’ve been doing some catch up in my office. Well, mostly just cleaning and organizing but either way I thought I’d knock out a blog post while I’m in here.
The beginning of next month I will be taking a trip down to Florida to visit some friends and I thought now would be a great time to test out the Soak Off Gel Polish Complete Starter Kit from ASP. I really don’t want to have to worry about my nail polish while out of town and really don’t want to pack up supplies to take with me so I think gel will be the way to go. With the Complete Starter Kit from ASP, I got everything I need to get started. Perfect for those just getting into to gel systems, like myself.
The Soak Off Gel Polish Complete Starter Kit from ASP comes with your bonder, top coat, base coat, one shade called Passionate Pink, 2-in-1 Dehydrator/Cleansing wipe, Soak Off Solution, and a Mini LED Lamp. The kit comes with step by step instructions so you will get the perfect gel mani, the first time!
Now I loved the pink shade included with the kit, I really wanted something with a more Halloween vibe so I tried out I’m Royalty Purple. Gel Polish is thicker than your standard lacquer so I highly suggest thin coats, dry time isn’t a concern since you are curing.
Once you are ready to remove, I recommend using the ASP Soak Off Gel Caps. I’ve shared my love for these caps in the past for removing heavy glitter base polish and glad to finally use them for what they were designed for. I applied just a small amount of the Soak Off Solution to a piece of a cotton ball, laid on the nail, and then slipped the cap on. After 8 minutes I easily removed the gel polish.

The removal caps are what I find so interesting. I get my nails dipped sometimes and removal can be a bear but those would really help.
I love how gel can get you through a good holiday trip and ASP being easily available in a kit is a huge winner for me. I have a couple of colors here that I want to try!
