Good evening everyone! I hope all is well! Today I have a new jelly trio and limited edition blend from one of my favorite makers to share. As the long time readers already know, I love Reverie Nail Lacquer and that I feel they have some of the best jellies on the market. Needless to say when Reverie Nail Lacquer announced they were releasing a new Jelly Trio, I was ecstatic! Let’s take a look at the Limited Edition blend first.
First up we have Fairy Pools. This is a sheer teal jelly base loaded with pink glass flecks, blue iridescent glitter, and pink, purple, green, and blue mattes in various sizes and shapes. Due to the limited availability of some of Fairy Pools contents, this will be a limited batch so you will want to act quick. Fairy Pools was a little sheer so depending on how you apply can effect the number of layers needed. In my photos I am wearing three coats of Fairy Pools and one good coat of Gelous.
Now for the new Jelly Trio. First up we have Berry Sorbet. This is a purple jelly with hints of red undertones, and filled with blue iridescent glitter, pink, purple, yellow, and pink glitters in various sizes and shapes. I would recommend allowing this bottle to sit upside down for a few minutes before application. This will make the larger glitter a little easier to get. I found using the brush and dab method the easiest way to apply. In my photos I am wearing three coats of Berry Sorbet and one good coat of Gelous.
Next up we have Fresa, a favorite of mine. This is a lovely, bright red jelly filled with pink, white, and iridescent glitter in various sizes, shapes, and finishes. Fresa was the easiest to apply out of the collection and the look was simply stunning. In my photos I am wearing three coats of Fresa and one good coat of Gelous.
Lastly we have Open Waters. This is a cool blue jelly filled with blue, orange, yellow, purple, and iridescent glitter in various sizes, shapes, and finishes. This blend was on the sheer side but due to the heavy glitter content, coverage was fairly easy. In my photos I am wearing three coats of Open Waters and one good coat of Gelous.
So what do you guys think of the new jellies? Love them as always! The new Jelly Trio and Limited Edition blend will be releasing from Reverie Nail Lacquer tomorrow, May 29th.
