Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful Tuesday! Today I have some amazing lacquers to share with you guys from China Glaze. Hitting the shelves this month is the new Rebel Collection which consists of 12 great shades inspired by the grunge area. China Glaze is known for having some creative lacquers and these certainly do not disappoint! As a teen from the 90’s, I was beyond thrilled about this new collection and ecstatic to have the opportunity to share swatches with you guys. Today’s post is going to be VERY picture heavy so grab a drink, some snacks, and let’s dive in!
First up we have Heroine Chic. This is a smokey chocolate lacquer filled with red flecks and a hint of golden shimmer. In my photos I am wearing two coats of Heroine Chic.
Next up is one of my favorites from the collection, Y’all Ready for This?. This is a gorgeous red shimmer that has some serious glow to it. In my photos I am wearing two coats of Y’all Ready for This?.
Now for a gorgeous flakie! Don’t Mesh with Me is a gorgeous lavender jelly with purple flecks and hint of golden shimmer. In my photos I am wearing three coats of Don’t Mesh with Me.
Now for another favorite. Combat Blue-ts is a stunning rich matte blue lacquer. While mattes can sometimes be bit tricky to apply, this one is worth the extra effort. In my photos I am wearing two coats of Combat Blue-ts.
Next up we have Blue-Ya!. This is a gorgeous sapphire blue jelly filled with green and blue flecks. In my photos I am wearing two coats of Blue-Ya!.
Time for yet another favorite from the collection. Dope Taupe is a gorgeous almond taupe creme. I have been looking for this exact shade and so glad to finally have it from one of my favorite brands. In my photos I am wearing two coats Dope Taupe.
Next up we have Teen Spirit, you can’t have a grunge inspired collection without it! This is a beautiful inky blurple jelly filled with indigo flecks. In my photos I am wearing two coats of Teen Spirit.
Now for another cutely named lacquer. Jagged Little Teal is a rich teal creme. My camera went a little bonkers and made this lacquer look more blue than green, but trust me this is a gorgeous teal creme in person. In my photos I am wearing two coats of Jagged Little Teal.
Now for a multi purpose lacquer. Holo At Ya Girl! is a pink tinted base with green and gold glitters. While this has holo in the name, I really didn’t see a lot of holo glitter. That said, this is a gorgeous blend of lacquers that took great layers or as a top coat. First set of photos I am wearing just three coats of Holo At Ya Girl! and last pic is just one coat over Jagged Little Teal.
Guess what?! I have another favorite! Purple Fiction is rich metallic plum purple lacquer that couldn’t of had a better name. This lacquer seriously glows and is just perfect. In my photos I am wearing two coats of Purple Fiction.
Next up is Fresh Princess. This is a super sweet bubble gum pink that would be a great addition to anyone’s collection. She did apply a bit patchy but mostly leveled out once dried. In my photos I am wearing three coats of Fresh Princess.
And lastly we have my number one fav! Pearl Jammin’ is an amazing blue gray opalescent lacquer. The glow is amazing, the color shift perfection, and application was a dream. She is a bit sheer but build nicely. In my photos I am wearing three coats of Pearl Jammin’.
So what do you guys think of the new Rebel Collection by China Glaze? I am in love. I was a huge fan of the grunge rock era so to have my teen year’s capture in polish is just fantastic.
