Pretty & Polished August Beauty Box

Good afternoon everyone!  Today I have the last bit of goodies from Pretty & Polished to share with you guys.  The past two days I have shared two new fun collections for summer and today I have the August Beauty Box.  The Beauty Box is a fun box that you can choose to do a month, three month, six month, or 12 month subscriptions service and they are always packed full of goodies.  This month is really loaded up with lacquers.

 

First up I would like to share this month’s exclusive box blend, Cold on the Shoulder.  This is a lovely thermal blend that shifts from a teal green to a medium blue.  It is also filled with blue glitter in various sizes and a light amount of holographic sparkle.  In my photos I am wearing three coats of Cold on the Shoulder and one coat of Gelous.

 

Next up is another box exclusive, A Painter Passing Through.  This is a clear base blend filled with blue, green, and purple glitter in various sizes and shapes.  The glitter was very easy to work with and no needed fishing for the larger circles.  In my photos I am wearing one generous coat of A Painter Passing Through over Finger Paints Louvre This Pink and sealed it all with a coat of Gelous.

 

Next up is another exclusive but in mini form, Opal.  This is a clear base blend that has been loaded with iridescent glitter in many different sizes and shapes.  Opal is a little thick due to all the glitter but there was no trouble with application.  I used one coat of Opal over OPI Alpine Snow and sealed it all with a coat of Gelous.

 

Lastly for the lacquers is a mini bottle of The Saga.  This is a white crelly with small red bars and hexes, green squares, and blue, purple, and yellow dots.  I did have a little trouble with getting the larger dots but I think a lot may have had to do with the mini bottle brush.  I found if you tilted the bottle sideways and lifted out at an angle you could get them a little easier.  In my photos I am wearing three coats, last with a dabbing method to get the dots on there, and sealed it all with a good coat of Gelous.
