Good afternoon everyone! Today I have some lacquers from Jessica Cosmetics to share with you guys. Earlier this year Jessica Cosmetics released a new line of lacquers called Phenom. This is a lacquer that offers a gel-like shine that lasts up to 10 days and dries quickly in natural light, no special lamps required. I have the pleasure to sharing one of their starter kits today.
The starters Phenom Kit comes with Reward (base coat for normal nails), two colors from the Phenom Vivid Colours, and Phenom Finale Shine top coat. This is a great all in one kit to get your started or for the perfect gift thanks to its sleek packaging.
Now let’s take a look at the lacquers in my kit. First up we have Pretty in Pearls. This is pale nude purple creme with red undertones. Pretty in Pearls was a bit thick and did cause some issues with application and didn’t want to level well, as seen in the pics. Personally I did not care for the formula at all and will certainly be adding a good bit of thinner next use. In my photos I am wearing two coats and a coat of the Finale Shine top coat.
Next up we have Fountain Bleu. This is a stunning bright blue creme that was the compete opposite of Pretty in Pearls. Formula was fantastic and the color very rich. In my photos I am wearing two coats of Fountain Bleu and one coat of Finale Shine.
So what do you guys think of the new Phenom lacquers from Jessica Cosmetics? I am mixed on the formulas, while Pretty in Pearls was difficult, the Fountain Bleu was a dream to work with and leaves some hope for some of the other colors. The idea of a long lasting lacquer without the harshness of gel may appeal to some so it is certainly something worth checking out. Be sure to check out all the amazing lacquers Jessica Cosmetics has to offer. Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again tomorrow.
