Poinsettias with SuperChic Lacquer and UberChic

December 1, 2020 by Nina 5 Comments

Good afternoon! It is finally December and that means all the holiday goods! This year I’m going to be sharing tons of nail art like years past but I’m also going to give a look throughout the month into my holiday decorations, favorite holiday treats, and great holiday stops.

To kick off the month right I naturally have to start off with nail art and something so Christmas traditional that it’s a staple, Poinsettias! This has always been a sign of the holidays for me and only in recent years have I learned that Poinsettias aren’t as toxic to pets as I was led to believe in my childhood. They can cause an upset stomach but not much past that. Even still, I like to stick to the really fancy fake ones, lol!

For my Poinsettia nails, I started off with two coats of Cherub by SuperChic Lacquer. I debated on many shades for my stamping and really didn’t want to go with just a plain black shade and felt white would take away from the red too much so after digging through my stash, I found the perfect shade. I used Christmas-01 Plate by UberChic with Bride of Frankenstein by SuperChic Lacquer. This shade is very dark green with a rich green metallic finish. Everything is sealed with two coats of Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat by SuperChic Lacquer.

So what do you guys think of my Poinsettia nails? I really love the color choices and how crisp the stamping turned out. UberChic plates are always top-notch on pattern details and SuperChic Lacquer offers up tons of great lacquers that stamp well too!

Thank you guys so much for stopping by this evening and I can’t wait to share more holiday goodness with you all! Be safe and I’ll see you all again soon! <3

I love it especially since I just love that red. Your stamping is beautiful as always but it’s the polish that draws me to it.

Oh I love poinsettias! Are they really not that dangerous? I don’t keep them around for that reason.

Naturally, I am working around the house this long weekend and doing some Christmas decorating. Before closing out the month, I wanted to hop on and share some updates. This month just flew by, and I am not in the Christmas spirit yet! November was packed with things: Zelda is finally vaccinated and can go out in public, we took a trip to Flordia to visit family, and we had a significant audit at work....

It was a crazy week at home with appointments, taking care of a sick puppy, and managing a household, but I wanted to share some more lovely lacquers from SuperChic Lacquer. Today, I have Psycho from SuperChic Lacquer to share. This was just the perfect silver holographic crackle shade for Halloween since it was inspired by the film Psycho, and I thought a red glitter base would be the ideal pairing....
