Pastel Flowers with China Glaze, Zoya, and MoYou London

March 13, 2019 by Nina 11 Comments

Good afternoon everyone! I hope all has been well! I am sorry I haven’t been around much in the past week, adjusting to my new job and juggling the household chores. I am getting in to the swing of things finally and look forward to sharing some nail art I’ve created recently and new products I have been trying out.

Today I have my first on the job subtle mani to share with you guys. My new employer is in the medical field and polish was a gray area with my position so I naturally wanted to ease into things. For my first week I went with some simple pastels that not only worked great for my first week, it is also a great spring mani.

For my pastel flowers, I started off with three coats of Fresh Prince-ss by China Glaze. Next, I used the Pro Collection ZL-13 plate from MoYou London, picked this up during their latest $1 sale, along with Blu by Zoya to create a subtle flower pattern. Everything is sealed with two coats of Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat by SuperChic Lacquer.

What do you guys think of my first subtle mani for work? I love how this puts off a young girl’s Easter dress vibe. So soft and simple. I have worked things out with my new employer and thanks to some latex gloves in certain areas, I will be able to rock my normal crazy looks. Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again soon!

I love it! Those shades together are both unusual and perfect. I would also love the China Glaze Prince-ss on its own – my kind of shade that I buy over and over again!

I LOVEEEEEE how the colors aren’t super contrasty– it makes for a really beautiful soft effect!

This is such a soft look! Also that’s great you can still wear your polish at work! I always get to sad when people say they can’t wear polish at work hah.

This design is perfect for spring, and I’m so glad to hear you don’t have to tone down your nails with the new job!
