Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are all having a fantastic Monday. I am back today with day 8 of the 31 Day Challenge. Today’s challenge is metallic nails so I had a little of a hard time finding something to do. I don’t care for metallic finish blends but did have a bottle of OPI Push and Shove so I figured this would work.
Push and Shove is an insane chrome blend that if done right, can look amazing. As prep I buffed my bare nail to remove any and all imperfections. Next up I used two coats of OPI’s Lay Down That Base, made especially for creating a smooth finish. Lastly I used two coats of Push and Shove. This stuff dries fairly quick which is great because you cannot use a top coat, that kills the look.
So what do you guys think about metallic finishes? I personally don’t care for them because they tend to look streaky but this chrome is pretty unique so it is an exception to the rule. Thank you so much for stopping by today and be sure to scroll down and enter our giveaway before you leave. I will see you all again tomorrow with another great challenge. <3

I’ve seen this polish look super streaky and bumpy but you made it look great! I love the chrome and metallic finishes, when they look nice, but they too often don’t.

I know what you are saying. I was intrigued when I first heard about it and then saw some photos that just didn’t look right. This is certainly not a polish you can just brush on, serious prep work needs to be done for a smooth look. 🙂
