OPI Neon Brights Collection 2014

Good afternoon everyone!  Today I have the lovely new Neon Brights Collection from OPI.  When I saw the promo material for this collection I immediately fell in love.  I just don’t have enough neon shades and I figured this would be a great addition to my collection.  The Neon Brights Collection consists of 6 bright shades that layer pretty well without a base coat of white.

First up we have Life Gave Me Lemons.  While the name says lemons, I would say this is more of a bright chartreuse color.  That being said, I absolutely love it.  The green undertones work perfectly with my skin tone.  In my photos I am wearing three coats of Life Gave Me Lemons.

 

Next up is Juice Bar Hopping.  This one is a very bright orange red creme that is just stunning.  This is certainly one of my favorites from the collection.  In my photos I am wearing just three coats of Juice Bar Hopping.

 

Now for You Are So Outta Lime.  This one is a little less lime and more of a bright mint shade, which I didn’t think was possible.  Application was pretty smooth and I needed just three coats of You Are So Outta Lime.

 

Next up is Down To The Core-al.  This one is a bright coral shade with a soft shimmer.  As much as I loved the color, this was the most problematic one out of the collection.  It dried really, really quick so it ended up being very streaky.  I decided to put a top coat on it to help smooth it out some.  In my photos I am wearing three coats of Down To the Core-al and one coat of clear top coat.

 

Next up is another favorite, Hotter Than You Pink.  This one is a bright pink shade with a pearly purple shimmer.  In my photos I am wearing three coats of Hotter Than You Pink.

 

And lastly for the collection is Push & Pur-Pull.  This one is a dark but bright purple creme and probably my least favorite from the collection.  The color just didn’t tickle my fancy.  In my photos I am wearing three coats of Push & Pur-Pull.

 

So what do you guys think of the new Neon Collection from OPI?  All in all I am pretty happy.  I do wish there had been a blue and the purple had been more neon but the other colors were fantastic so I can forgive the no blue. 😉  I picked these beauties up at Glisten & Glow so I could still help support my smaller companies.  I am already eyeing the neon Essie’s they have in stock.  Thank you so much for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing you all again tomorrow. <3
