October Empties

November 2, 2016 by Nina 16 Comments

Good evening everyone!  I hope you are all having a wonderful humpday!  Tonight’s post will be a little quick but I just had to share my empties for the month of October!  I only used up three products but all were pretty awesome.

First up is the Refresher jelly soap from Lush.  Holy moly I love this stuff!!!  It’s a bit pricey for soap but I really don’t care, next Lush trip I will be stocking up.  The Refresher reminds me of cereal from my child hood, a sweet lemony scent that really does energize me.  I chose to tear off small pieces and suds up, a little goes a very long way.  The 8.4oz jar lasted me about 6 weeks, and that’s two showers a day most days.

Next up I have the Glow Tonic from Pixi.  Again another great product that I loved.  My method of use is placing a stack of cosmetic pads in a mason jar and soak with tonic.  This made for quick, easy application everyday.  The scent is mild and I did not experience any drying of the skin.  I already have the Glow Tonic on my shopping list for next time I go to Target.

Lastly I have the Essential-C Cleanser from Murad.  The cleanser had a great orange blossom scent that was mild but again, refreshing.  Again I experienced no drying.  I personally don’t think I will buy again, a little pricey and didn’t see a noticeable difference in my skin.

So there you have, my empties for October.  Thank you so much for stopping by tonight and I will see you all again tomorrow!

I wish I loved the Lush Jelly’s. They have such great scents but alas, I have one sadly sitting in my shower.

That is a fantastic idea of how to use tonics/toners! Mason jar and cotton pads – plus it adds an adorable look to the bathroom! (We have some light blue mason jars with not use right now.) 🙂

Pixi sells Glow to Go pads but your way is so much more economical. What a great idea.

My husband uses the Lush shower jellies. I haven’t tried them yet. I bet that lemon smells amazing though!

Empties! I’m not allowed to go to Lush anymore, but I want to try the shower jellies so bad. I want to try the Pixi tonic, too! I’ve heard so much about their skincare lately.

I didnt care for essential c cleanser either. It literally did nothing to my skin that Clean and Clear Morning Burst couldnt do for $5.47.

You’re the second person this week I’ve seen rave about the Pixi Tonic. I never thought to just soak it with pads – I have SO many cosmetic pads because I use them to remove my polish. I may do this with some of my other cleansers too!

It was a crazy week at home with appointments, taking care of a sick puppy, and managing a household, but I wanted to share some more lovely lacquers from SuperChic Lacquer. Today, I have Psycho from SuperChic Lacquer to share. This was just the perfect silver holographic crackle shade for Halloween since it was inspired by the film Psycho, and I thought a red glitter base would be the ideal pairing....
