Good evening everyone! I hope you are all having a great Friday! Who else is super excited for the weekend? It has been a long week here and I am looking forward to hopefully a little relaxation. Tonight I have an awesome geek inspired lacquer box to share with you guys. Nouveau Geek Box is a monthly box that is packed full with nail lacquers and extra cute goodies. For the month of July Nouveau Geek Box is going Retro Gaming. Each lacquer will be inspired off of some of your favorite games and comes with an adorable felt Pac-man Ghost. Tonight’s post is very picture heavy so let’s dive in!
First up we have Space Invaders by Turtle Tootsie Polish. This is a gorgeous dark moss green holographic lacquer with a green shimmer. Application and formula were flawless. In my photos I am wearing three coats of Space Invaders and one coat of clear.
Next up we have Triforce by Black Label Nails. Now the long time readers know my love for The Legend of Zelda series to I was super excited to see this game represented in the box. Triforce is a lovely yellow gold shimmer with silver holographic glitter in various sizes. I was worried that I would have trouble applying with such a short brush handle but this stuff applied beautifully! In my photos I am wearing three coats of Triforce and one coat of clear.
Now for a gorgeous blue, my weakness! Light Cycle by Lollipop Posse Lacquer is a gorgeous cobalt blue holographic lacquer with blue iridescent flakes. Application, formula, and opacity build were all amazing. In my photos I am wearing two coats of Light Cycle and one coat of clear.
Now for an awesome jelly! Pinball Wizard by Bohemian Polish is one of the cutest games inspired lacquers I have had the pleasure of wearing. Pinball Wizard is a lovely purple jelly filled with purple, pink, silver, blue, and yellow glitters in various sizes and shapes. Now I wasn’t able to get any of the extra large circles on my nails but this appear to be more of an accent and intended to be sparse. In my photos I am wearing three coats of Pinball Wizard and one coat of clear.
Lastly we have 80’s Block Party by Sassy Pants. This is a lovely black shimmer lacquer filled with pink, blue, yellow, and purple matte squares and silver holographic micro glitter. This polish is so cute and screams 80’s! In my photos I am wearing three coats of 80’s Block Party and one coat of clear.
