Good evening everyone! I hope you are all having a great Thursday! I had some sad news to share tonight….. The Masquerade is finally moving!!!! After many years of rumors, yesterday they announced that this year’s Wrecking Ball Festival will be the last show for the Old Fourth Ward location. They will be moving to a new location on Fairmont and continuing the three stage set up so while the location is changing, the people, sound, and idea will still be alive. With the announcement, I decided to share my first of many music themed nails.
This year Motion City Soundtrack will be making a stop at the Wrecking Ball Festival as part of their Farewell Tour. I have been a long time fan of Motion City Soundtrack and so sad to see these guys leaving the stage for good. With this being their final year I thought it would be fun to create some nail art base off their debut album, I Am The Movie. For my inspired look I started with two coats of Cam by Zoya. I then used Demetria by Zoya and the 34 plate from Infinity Nails to create a ghost rose pattern. I then sealed everything with two coats of Liquid Macro Top Coat by SuperChic Lacquer.
What do you guys think of my I Am The Movie inspired nails? I LOVE THEM!!!! These turned out exactly as I had envisioned. These were certainly a pick me up from all the sad news. If you get a chance to see Motion City Soundtrack, do it! Or even better, come to the Wrecking Ball Festival where you can see these guys along with tons of other amazing bands! Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again tomorrow.
