Good afternoon! I hope you are all having a lovely Monday! I am so excited
Medieval Times has been around for 35 years and recently did a major revamp of their show, music, and costumes. What’s even more exciting, there is now a Queen ruler for the first time ever!!! So even if you have been to Medieval Times in the past, you can go now for an all-new experience.
This time of year the lobby area is decked out in full holiday decor! It is recommended to get to the show early for the best seats and before the show you can grab a delicious beverage from the bar and pile up by the fireplace. On my visit, I tried out the Maiden’s Kiss and my date tried out the Executioner, though he later switched to Maiden’s Kiss because it was just so delicious. You can get your beverage in a souvenir glass to take home and all refills are just half price!
Along with the amazing bar, festive decor, and warm fire, there is a huge souvenir shop! You can find pretty much something for everyone, even an amazing suit of armor! I snapped a few pics of some of my favorites, including an awesome White Walker Sword!
Once the doors to the arena open you are called by your knight color for seating. We were cheering for the blue knight this night and we had an amazing view. If you grab a Royal Upgrade with your ticket you get front row seating which means you get the best view for all the action!
Once the show kicks off each knight is brought out and introduced to the crowd and then the Queen herself rides out to welcome everyone. Her gown was simply stunning and has me inspired to create a gorgeous mani. Once she finishes welcoming the crowd she takes her throne at the head of the arena. The show proceeds to a falcon show, dancing horse show, and so much more.
Now for some jousting!!! This was certainly the highlight of the night, even if the Blue Knight lost. These guys go through tons of training so they can put on the best show
Now to highlight my dinner! At Medieval Times you get the joy of going back in time and eating with your hands. You are provided with a wet nap at the beginning to clean up. I decided to go with a Vegetarian meal since my first trip years ago was traditional. With the Vegetarian meal, you get hummus with pita bread, carrots, and celery on the side (the traditional meal you get tomato bisque). This was so good, though I did get a few sips of the soup from my date. The main course is a delicious three bean stew, lucky me I got to use a spoon, that tasted amazing and was so filling!!! For dessert most of the time the Vegetarian meal comes with fruit but for some
So have you guys traveled to Medieval Times? While this isn’t a place you would go to often, it is great for special occasions or a great date night. Things can get very expensive quick. Just our two alcoholic drinks with cups and one refill each without tip were over $60. Add that in the price of tickets, tips, souvenirs, etc…..yeah, this is certainly a special occasion kind of place. You can sign up for their birthday club and get one free ticket with the purchase of a ticket. Please be sure to check out all that Medieval Times has to offer and be sure to enter for your chance to win a Family 4 Pack to Medieval Times in Atlanta!!!
Now for a side note. I got extremely sick while attending
Enough of my embarrassing story! Be sure to enter the giveaway and I will have my fingers crossed for you all! Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again soon!

It sounds like a lot of fun! I’d been to Medieval Times on a band trip (I think when we were in Virginia?) back in high school and it was a great experience. I need to take the kids!
