Good afternoon!!!! I hope you are all having a fabulous Saturday!  Today I have a fabulous product to share with you guys that is just perfect for weekend pampering.  BODIPURE is a well know brand that offers great products for professional spas.  They recently released a new line for retail customers and gives you at home care with ease.  BODIPURE was kind enough to send me over some of their Keratin Gloves and Socks to share with you guys. 

Once a week I like to strip my polish and go natural for about 24 hours.  During this time I like to give my hands a deep nourishment treatment.  With the abuse I put my hands and nails through, it’s the least I can do.  Unfortunately when going through the treatment process, I can’t do much else so when I heard about the Keratin Socks and Gloves from BODIPURE I was excited.  These are slip on Keratin rich products that offer nail strengthening, softens cuticles, and moisturizes the skin.  And yes, it is simply as that.  You slip the gloves on, rub the product around, and carry on with your day.  I was even able to still use my iPhone while wearing the gloves.  After about 20 minutes I removed the gloves and rubbed the excess product into my arms and elbows.  My nails were completely saturated with oil, so much so they were clear!!!!

Now for the socks.  The lovely lady at BODIPURE who sent these to me suggested I wear the socks overnight for a super heavy treatment so I decided to give that a try.  Needless to say, I was in complete giggles with the process.  First off I put the socks on in the bathroom while I was getting ready for bed, big mistake!  I slipped on some super fuzzy socks to help keep the Keratin socks in place while I slept and then I had to walk from my bathroom to the bed which was about 25 – 30 feet with out breaking my neck.  Seriously, these Keratin socks are VERY difficult to walk in and you will be slipping and sliding.  My suggestion is putting them on where you decided to sit or sleep for the duration of wearing.  Now I was not able to make it trough the night, I think these were ripped off at about 2:00 in the morning, but I will say when I woke the next morning my feet were incredibly soft.  I have been breaking in some new shoes and my tender spots were like new again.

So have you guys tried out BODIPURE Keratin Gloves and Socks?  Overall I was pretty pleased with the products themselves but they are a bit pricey.  For the glove and sock combo you are looking at about $10 and they recommend using often, so if you figure three treatments a week, that’s $30 bucks!  I personally think I would be more of an every other week kind of person but everyone’s self care budget is different.  Also the more you buy, the cheaper they get.  Either way, they are a very nice treat and I know my feet loved it!  As an added bonus BODIPURE has provided a coupon code for Model City readers!  Use code modelcity20 for 20% off your order (excludes HandPure Hand Mask).
