Good afternoon everyone! We are almost to the weekend and I just realized something….we only have three weekends until Christmas! Holy crap where did the time go? While I was able to get some shopping done, I still have quite a bit to do and I work this weekend. Along with all the holiday shopping, I also have a few date nights and girls nights planned which means time to break out some new products for some new looks.
I was recently contacted to try out some products from Coastal Scents and while I am certainly not new to the brand, I haven’t tried any of their palettes so I was super excited to play. I stepped out of my comfort zone with the Jungle Roar palette and also decided to up my blush game with the Blush Essentials palette. To say I am pleased is putting it mildly! Let’s take a closer look at everything I got in.
First up is the Jungle Roar palette from Coastal Scents. This palette has you covered from neutral blues and greens, to vibrant orange and pink shades. You have some mattes and some amazing shimmers, all working well dry or wet. Each shade is heavily pigmented with little wear fallout.
How gorgeous is the palette! I have always been scared of bold colors so this palette was nothing like I own and after a shimmer green look I created, I am addicted and need more colors!
Next, we have the Blush Essentials palette from Coastal Scents. This palette consists of 6 great blush shades that will work with pretty much any skin tone. Pigmentation was just enough and kept me from having a clown look. Super easy to apply and blend.
Along with the palettes, I gave one of Coastal Scents Elite Brushes a try. I picked up the medium shadow brush and I am blown away. I have some “higher” end eyeshadow brushes and this was on par, if not better than. I will certainly be picking up a few more, like a crease brush.
Since I had all these new products to try, I decided to play with a fun everyday look. This is the first time I’ve ever rocked green shadow and I’m in love. I only used the Elite brush for my look so I’m sure I could get some cleaner lines with a few more brushes. I used the Jungle Roar palette and the Blush Essentials palette for my look.
One last thing I have to mention about Coastal Scents, every time you order they throw in some fun extras. I’ve got a few eyeshadow quads and this time I got two blush duos. I loved the matte and shimmer in one pack!
So what do you guys think of my Coastal Scents haul? I know for sure, I need more palettes and really want to try out some more products from them. Their pricing is always amazing and a great value for the pigmentation. Be sure to take a moment to check out all that Coastal Scents has to offer, even some great last-minute stocking stuffers!
Thank you so much for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing you all again tomorrow with my first-holiday mani! <3
