Good morning everyone! So today I am doing a first for me, a jelly sandwich. Yeah that’s right, I’ve never done a jelly sandwich before! A few months back Julep had an online warehouse sale and I snagged up the Rock Candy collection just for the reason to try a jelly manicure, and then I forgot about them. The time has come!
First up I used Julep Molly, my favorite red creme. Molly is a super rich red creme that has amazing coverage. I always only need one coat but due to the heavy pigmentation be sure to wear a good base coat to prevent staining. My photos are shown just one coat and no top coat.
Now for some glitter. I decided to go with China Glaze Techno. Techno is a clear base with two different sizes of silver holographic glitter. Application is super smooth and glitter distribution is great. Now normally I would follow up with a top coat but since I’m using a jelly top I skipped that step. My photos are shown with one coat of Techno.
Now for the jelly part! I used Julep Wendy for my jelly look. Wendy is a bright red jelly blend that has a wonderful squish look! I used two coats of Wendy to seal Techno in.
So what do you guys think of my first jelly sandwich? I love the idea and really want to experiment with some other combinations. I would love to hear your recommendations for jelly blends. Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing you guys again tomorrow! <3
