Good evening everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful Monday. It is crunch time here and I am busy getting things ready for Cosmoprof. I have so many things planned and look forward to sharing tons with you guys. Today though I would like to share some It Works! products with you guys. We have all seen the ads, Facebook hype, and are probably wondering…. does this stuff work? Well Whitney, a long time polish friend, offered to let me try out some of their products and share my thoughts. I picked the Facial and the Hair Skin Nails to try out.
First up I will discuss the Hair Skin Nails Supplements. These are just your basic daily supplement but are specifically designed for hair, skin, and nail health. I regularly take daily supplements because I was cursed with slow growing hair, though I think it all goes to my nails so I am not going to complain too much. It Works! recommends taking two a day and to drink at least 8 glasses of water daily for the full results. I personally recommend taking with food because they are a little hard on the stomach. The size of the pills aren’t too bad and were easy to take. I did see a bit of growth and fullness difference compared to my normal supplement (note: I did quit taking my normal supplement a week before starting these). Now about the Facial. This is a sheet that you apply to your face and must leave on for a minimum of 45 minutes for full results. The facial was easy to apply though it was a bit large for my smaller head. The smell was pleasant and not overwhelming. I just kicked back and took a much needed break while wearing this. Once you remove the facial they suggest rubbing in leftover moisturizer for a extra bit of moisturizing. After about two hours from removing the mask I caved and had to scrub my face. It was just too greasy for my personal taste. I did a before and 24 after photo and to be honest there was zero visible results. My skin did seem better moisturized and I really don’t have many aging flaws to correct so this probably wasn’t the best product for me personally to try out. I spoke with Whitney and we both agreed that this may be better suited for someone with more aging or skin problems. Now that being said it was a nice treat but nothing really more than that for me. You can buy a four pack Facial for the loyalty price of $59 or regular customer for $99. I may pick a pack up during the coming winter months when I am battling that dreaded winter skin.

I’ve tried the wraps and the Greens. The wraps were awesome for the first couple to tighten up my skin but honestly, I’m a fairly skinny person so they didn’t do much for me after that. I am about a week into taking the Greens and they actually do seem to be helping a bit with daily energy.
