Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend! Today I am dropping in to share another one of my nail art looks for the #52weeknailchallenge2018. I am running a little behind but slowly catching up with sharing my looks for each week. The look today was inspired by literature and while at first I was way overthinking it, I ended up settling on inspiration from a series I only recently started thanks to the recommendation of a good friend. The John Corey series is written by Nelson Demille and is based off an awesome quick-witted but bit of a dick detective that you easily fall in love with. The first in the series is titled Plum Island and is full of all the perfect twist and turns for a murder mystery book. Within minutes I was hooked and am now working my way through the series. It only seemed perfect to take inspiration from the first book to share for my inspired by literature look.
For my Plum Island look I started off with Alpine Snow by OPI. I then used black stamping polish from MoYou Nails and the BP-L057 plate from Born Pretty to create a cute skull and cross bone look. Everything is sealed with two coats of Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat by SuperChic Lacquer.
So what do you guys think of my take on literature? I had fun matching my nails to another love of mine! Thank you so much for stopping by this weekend and I hope you are all having a cool, comfortable weekend! <3
