Good evening everyone! I hope you are all having a fabulous day! After all the rain this past weekend and the cold start to the week, it is finally warming up to Spring again and I decided to break out some old school holos to celebrate the warmer temps. We all love our holos and lord knows there are plenty on the market from indie to mainstream but sometimes it’s fun to revisit some older shades and see how the market started. One of those big name brand brands that broke out in the holo world was Color Club and I remember when this were released that I had to have them all! The price point was amazing and their linear holographic finish couldn’t be touched by anyone in the US market. A few years later SuperChic Lacquer released like amazing holos that not only had that strong linear holographic finish, but they stamped beautifully too. It only seemed appropriate to pair the two.
To start off my holographic shards mani I started off with two coats of Eternal Beauty by Color Club. How beautiful is this shade?!?! Formula perfection, coverage solid, and holographic finish amazing! Next I used Lucid Lala Land by SuperChic Lacquer and the Geomartrix plate by Pet’la Plates. Again, the SuperChic Lacquers are amazing for stamping!! Everything is sealed with two coats of Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat by SuperChic Lacquer.
What do you guys think of my holographic shards? I am loving this color combo and how well the linear holographic finish transfers between the two shades. I am having so much fun going down memory lane with old shades!! Thank you so much for stopping by tonight and I will see you all again soon! <3

Boy we all lost our shorts over the Color Club, didn’t we? And CG OMG. I wonder if the new CG OMG collex will be as holo as the old ones.
