Good afternoon! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday! I am finally back and have tons to share! This year we spent Christmas in Florida visiting my boyfriend’s family and was the first time I was not at home for Christmas. We had a great time catching up with everyone, had way too much delicious food, and caught the worst cold on the way home! While we tested negative for everything, my boyfriend and I were both down for a solid week with body aches, fever, cough, well pretty much all the symptoms! Needless to say, that put me behind on many things, including catching up with you guys.
While we were in Florida, that brutal cold front moved in, and even in Florida we bundled up to keep warm. We had hoped to come home to some snow at the tail end of that front but sadly it didn’t reach the ground. It’s not uncommon here to have snow on the radars but never see any, it dries up before ever getting in sight. So to get my snow fix I decided on some snowflake manis’. I actually created two different looks because I had way too many ideas bouncing around, I blame the cold for my erratic brain!
First my first snowflake mani I started off with two coats of Ellie by Zoya. I then used No. 251 Holographic stamping polish from Moyra with the Christmas 01 Plate by UberChic. Everything is sealed with two coats of Cuccio Colour High Gloss Top Coat.
For my second snowflake look, I started off with two coats of Liz Taylor by Monster Polish. I have had this polish for YEARS and it is still one of my favorites, especially in colder weather. Next, I used the same stamping plate but with ST-01 Black stamping polish from Kaleidoscope. Again everything is sealed with two coats of High Gloss Top Coat by Cuccio Colour.
What do you guys think of my two different snowflake looks? I loved them both and was a great fix for the nonexisting snow here. I am keeping my fingers crossed that we might actually get snow this year! I have been in my home for 5 years and have yet to have a snow day nor has my pup Sally enjoyed any snow! Thank you for taking the time to stop by today and I hope you guys will leave me a message below!
