Good evening everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic Wednesday! Today I have a lovely collection from Morgan Taylor to share with you guys. The new Hello Pretty! Collection consists of 6 bright neons that are just perfect for summer. Since this is a 6 piece collection, and I don’t want to overload your eyes with neon goodness, I will share half of the collection today and half tomorrow. Let’s take a look at the warmer tones in the collection.
First up we have Manga-round with Me. This is a stunning coral neon creme. The blend was a little on the thick side and patchy, which seems standard with this type of color, but three coats it built to opacity beautifully. I will note that this dries to a matte finish so you will certainly need a top coat if you want a glossy finish like seen in my photos. In my photos I am wearing three coats of Manga-round with Me and one coat of clear.
Next up we have Pop-arrazi Pose, and a favorite of mine. Pop-arrazi Pose is a rich hot pink neon creme. This blend wasn’t as thick but still a little patchy. Once again though, I had no trouble building to opacity and it did dry to a matte finish. In my photos I am wearing three coats of Pop-arrazi Pose and one coat of clear.
Lastly for today we have Look at You, Pink-achu!. This is a lovely bubblegum pink neon creme. This blend was a little on the thick side but easy to work with. In my photos I am wearing three coats of Look at You, Pink-achu! and one coat of clear.
So what do you guys think of the Hello Pretty! Collection by Morgan Taylor so far? I LOVE THEM!!!!!! The colors are bright, fun, and no need for a base color of white to get the crazy bright colors. Woah, Manga-round with Me is GORGEOUS. What a shame it was a bit difficult, but the finished result is stunning!
Even with the application issues, it is still a very lovely lacquer. The color is just perfect for summer too! <3
