Happy Easter everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful day! Today I want to share my Easter weekend mani with you guys. I wanted something soft but bold at the same time and I think what I created fits the bill perfectly.
For my Easter mani I started off with two coats Julep Taylor for a bright color that also matches my blouse. I then used plate Golden Russian, my new plate from Pet’la Plates to review for you guys, and Enchanted Polish April 2014. The image transfer from the plate was fantastic and was super easy to work with. Another thing I love about Pet’la’s plates is they are super thick so no sharp edges! April 2014 wasn’t overpowering and created the perfect soft accent. I sealed everything with two coats of Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat.
So what do you guys think of my Easter mani? Certainly not traditional but perfect for me! Be sure to check out all the amazing plates Pet’la has to offer and give them a follow on Facebook or Instagram for up to date info. Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again tomorrow. <3
Stamping plate was sent for review but that does not influence my opinions.

Your mani is so very pretty! I like the quiet tone on tone look it has. After being bombarded on my FB nail groups with so many polish colors jammed together, even the pastel manis are starting to look way too loud! I bought that EP when it was offered for pre-order and used it once. I was disappointed in it. My first bottle of the fabled Enchanted Polish – and it was a pale grayish blue and the holo didn’t seem very much. Meh. I had seen swatches of other EPs that had me drooling! So I put it away, back in a corner. Then I see this! So dainty! Looks like April 2014 is coming out of its’ dusty corner!

I agree with EP hype, I just don’t get it sometimes. I did buy all the monthlies last year but this year I believe I will just stick to my anniversary month and birthday month, I just don’t want to risk $20 a month on something unseen.
I am glad that I could inspire you and give a reason to pull this out. It is a pretty blend and really makes for a great accent color. 🙂
