Gold Gradient with China Glaze

November 4, 2016 by Nina 10 Comments

Past Press Sample

Good afternoon everyone!  It is finally Friday and I am ready for this beautiful Fall weekend!  I hope to get some free time to clean the garage a little and maybe hit up the botanical gardens.  Since I am in such a strong Fall season mood, I thought I would create a fun fall mani.  I have done a glitter gradient in a few weeks so decided it was time for some sparkle.

For my glitter gradient I started with three coats of Tis The Sea-Sun by China Glaze, part of the new Winter Holiday Collection, and one coat of clear.  I then used Blonde Bombshell to create my gold gradient.  Since this lacquer is so loaded with glitter, I found dabbing the tips of my nails and the using left over glitter to lightly brush above.  I sealed everything with three coats of clear top coat to give a super glossy finish and add depth to the glitter.

So what do you guys think of my China Glaze gradient?  I love the color combo!  Blonde Bombshell is still on of my favorite glitter top coats and was clearly perfect for this look.  Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again this weekend!

I really like this! Super pretty! I’ve always done the gradient from the top, and it’s always been when my mani is growing out since I have acrylics, to hide that it’s grown out. Haha!

This is a super-cheerful look and a great way to pep up an older mani!

It was a crazy week at home with appointments, taking care of a sick puppy, and managing a household, but I wanted to share some more lovely lacquers from SuperChic Lacquer. Today, I have Psycho from SuperChic Lacquer to share. This was just the perfect silver holographic crackle shade for Halloween since it was inspired by the film Psycho, and I thought a red glitter base would be the ideal pairing....
