Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are all having a lovely Monday! Today I am dropping in to share my latest contribution for the #52weeknailchallenge2018. This week’s theme is flowers and I wanted to try doing something a little different this time. After digging through my nail art supplies I came across some lovely water slide decals from KBShimmer and immediately knew this is what I wanted to use for this week. I haven’t used a lot of full nail water slides and while they are bit tricky compared to small accent pieces, the end look is worth the extra work.
For my flower nails I used UV Meant To Be by China Glaze as an accent shade for the KBShimmer water slide flowers. To make the water slides standout and vibrant, I used Alpine Snow by OPI as a base. Everything is sealed with two coats of Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat by SuperChic Lacquer.
So what do you guys think of my flowers mani this week? I love it! While the water slides are bit difficult to get to lay flat on my super curved nail, they are way easier than hand painted flower and perfect for my busy schedule. Hehe, these are pretty! I always have to worst luck with decals tho! I find it easier to paint on!
