Good afternoon everyone! I hope all has been well. Today I have a fairly new brand to share with you guys that goes by the name of Firecracker Lacquer. Back before my Vegas trip I had the pleasure of trying out some of their prototypes and was overall pretty pleased. I never shared here because they were without packaging and two of the three had been reformulated. Now with the new collection recently released I thought this would be a great opportunity to this great brand with you. The latest collection is titled What Are You Afraid Of? and consists of seven blends based off of different fears. I picked three to share with you guys.
First up is Type O Negative. This is a rich red jelly base with red glitter and a splash of blue square glitters. Application was easy and even though a jelly base, the coverage was fantastic. In my photos I am wearing two coats of Type O Negative and one coat of Gelous. I do think that this blend may require a more generous coat of Gelous next time for a full smooth finish.
Next up we have The Void. This is a heavy black creme with holographic glitter in various sizes. Again application was perfect. The glitter is not overpowering in this blend and more of a pleasant accent. In my photos I am wearing two coats of The Void and one coat of Gelous.
Lastly from my purchase is They All Float Down Here. This is a light creme pink crelly with pink, blue, red, yellow, and orange matte glitters. The formula was super smooth and with just a slight stir of the brush a good amount of glitter for each nail. In my photos I am wearing three coats of They All Float Down Here and one coat of Gelous.
So what do you guys think of these beauties from Firecracker Lacquer? I think they are all great blends with a fun theme behind each one. Be sure to check out these plus tons of other great items from Firecracker Lacquer and give them a follow on Facebook for up to date info. Thank you for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing you all again tomorrow. <3
