Good afternoon everyone! I hope all has been well! Things have been crazy here at MCP headquarters!!! We lost not one but two employees at work for health reasons and to say we are short-handed puts it mildly. Pretty much every day when I get home it takes what last bit of energy I have to cook dinner and shower. Tomorrow is suppose to be my off day and while I had hoped to get caught up in my office, I will be working a half-day to help with the staff shortages. I will still work on getting things done in the evening and hopefully getting caught up!
In all the mayhem, I have been ever so grateful for my Fit Snack Box! Breaks are not existing at work and lunches are rushed so it’s nice to have some snacks I can eat on the go. Last month’s box was packed full of goodies and I have just about eaten them all! Let’s take a closer look at each item.

Backpackers Pantry Pancakes – Flavor Power on Pancakes or Carrot Cake Pancakes! Backpacker’s Pantry pancake mix will have you fueled for a day of adventuring! Simply add water, mix, and cook in a pan or griddle. I haven’t used this just yet, saving for a spring camping trip. They sound delicious though and perfect for camping.
Bumbleroot Hydration Pack in Rasberry Hibiscus Mint – Bumbleroot’s Hydration Drinks deliver electrolytes from nature. Organic coconut water + baobab + dried fruits and herbs create a delicious hydration drink.
Kibo Chickpea Chips Mediterranean Herbs – Delicious, nutritious, and good for the planet – that’s Kibo! Introducing our non-GMO and gluten-free chickpea chips with 7g of protein! These chips were super delicious! I would have never believed they were made from chickpeas. The crunch was on point for chips and full of seasoning.
Moon Cheese Cheddar – Fuel up with Moon Cheese as a crunchy snack, protein-packed, no sugar, and low in carbs. These are so good and not the first time I’ve seen them in Fit Snack. Big win in my book for that needed cheese fix.
Kay’s Naturals Cinnamon Cookie Bites – The nutty and rich flavor of almond, coupled with the sweet and spicy flavor of cinnamon blend together for a fabulous taste. Relish them straight from the bag or over a chocolate smoothie. Either way, they are sure to delight. I loved these!!! The cinnamon with a hint of almond was super tasty and the crunch was perfect for a snack fix.
Caveman Foods Blueberry Almond Granola Bar – Grain Free Granola Bars: The Blueberry Almond Granola Bar is packed with almonds, walnuts, raisins, and seeds. A guilt-free snack with 6g of protein! I am a sucker for granola bars and this one was amazing! I loved the almonds and walnuts mixed in!
Supernola Signature Spiced Goji – This was a bonus item and one of the 2019 Fit Snack Favorites. I had tried two other flavors last year so I was thrilled to see this as a favorite and a new flavor to try out. This granola is so good and flavorful that you will want to eat it on its own or added it to some plain yogurt to step things up.
