Good afternoon! I hope all has been well with you! Things are sadly ramping up at the hospital with Covid-19 and I have pretty much been exhausted after work so I apologize for not being around more recently. I think it is time for me to get back to blogging though as a stress release and to block out all the bad I am seeing every day.
I haven’t been doing much with my nails other than a solid color but I finally found a little spark in me and decided to try out a glitter gradient, fall-inspired of course. With the crazy workload, my nails have taken a beating and are much shorter than I prefer so to do a glitter gradient was asking a lot. Either way, I was determined and actually loved how they turned out.
For my Fall Glitter Gradient, I started off with three thin coats of Courtney by Zoya. This shade just screams fall to me and was the perfect base shade for my glitter. For the glitter gradient part, I used Flashing Lights by Enchanted Polish. Everything is then sealed with two coats of Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat by SuperChic Lacquer.
With all the working and then staying home my time away from work has certainly had my spirits down. I really miss some of my favorite restaurants, I miss going to thrift stores and flea markets, I miss just wandering around the stores aimlessly, I miss hanging out with friends and family, I miss life. One thing I am super grateful for is my boyfriend, he has really helped pick me up when down, and for example, is the amazing surprise I had last Friday after yet another long week. I came home to our tent set up in the backyard, a roaring fire, and our projector setup for a movie night. The projector reaches a full 170″ on the back of the house and with the Bose sound system, it’s just as good as any drive-in theater if not better.
So what do you guys think of my glitter gradient? It was certainly a pick me up and put a smile on my face each time I looked at them. We all need some glitter in our lives right now!
What have you been doing to keep spirits up and not go stir crazy during the pandemic? I’m always looking for ideas to break up the same ole same ole every day. Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again very soon! Promise!

Your glittery mani – that I adore – and your boyfriend’s great night out idea feel like small pleasures to keep as close as possible.
I hope the situation and your job will less and less heavy, so that you can enjoy life.
Thinking of you,
Valentina

You are really in the thick of it so nobody can fault you for taking time away or using the blog to help destress! Your gradient is lovely!

So funny – Courtney is my favorite, go-to red. And I’m actually wearing a similar mani right now, but with a dark wine from Orly and a gold glitter topper.

Nothing like a classic glittery tip! I think I will go with a similar look for the holidays this year.
