Empties for November 2016

December 4, 2016 by Nina 9 Comments

Good afternoon everyone!  I hope you have all been having a fantastic weekend!  It is cold and rainy here so I am spending the day inside watching Christmas movies!  I wanted to take a little break to drop in and share my November empties.  This month I had the most empties so far which has me beyond excited, that means I am actually using up stuff to fill my monthly review pot!  Let’s dive on in…

First up is the Colour Fanatic Multi-Tasking Hair Beautifier by Pureology.  This is treatment spray provides 21 essential benefits to help protect hair, nourish, and create the perfect look.  I absolutely loved this spray and will certainly be buying a full size bottle next trip to Ulta.  This stuff detangled my hair after washing, decreased my frizz, and smells amazing.  Double thumbs up!

Next up is some cuticle oil by Emerald & Ash.  E&A is well known for offering a wide range of scents in various sizes but sadly has seemed to have disappeared.  No word on what happened but I have everything is alright with this husband/wife team.  Their cuticle oil are pretty amazing.

Now for the Salt Water Taffy scented cuticle balm stick by Ginger Fizz Boutique.  I loved this stick!  The smell was amazing and the balm was actually really easy to apply.  I would probably purchase again, in this exact scent, but first I really need to work through my cuticle care stash….it’s a bit ridiculous!

Now for some perfume from my Scentbird subscription.  Last month I used the Un Jardin Sur Le Nil by Hermes.  Personally the scent just wasn’t for my taste, a little too spicy.  It wasn’t awful so I wore it, just not my favorite so won’t be buying.

Next up in my empty pile is Smooth Sensation Body Lotion by Nivea.  Nope, nope, nope!  This stuff has your traditional lotion smell which is just fine but left me feeling greasy hours after applying.  I prefer a lotion to absorb and leave no residue.  I found I would apply this nightly before bed and then wash off in the morning.  It hydrated my skin okay, nothing great.

nivea-lotion

Lastly for my monthly empties I have a foil packet of Coffee Bean Caffine Eye Cream by 100% Pure.  I love this eye cream!  It smells exactly like coffee and was great pick me up in the mornings before rushing off to work.  My eyes were certainly less puffy but couldn’t say it did much for dark circles, mine are pretty minimal.  I have two more packets to use up but I will most certainly be buying more once those are gone.

So have you guys tried any of these products?  Overall for the month of November I had a good mix, some bad and some amazing.  Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again tomorrow!

A cuticle balm stick sounds a lot less messy than an oil! I have to get one.

2 nail products used up?! Nice! The spicy scent sounds interesting – I like spicy scents, I’ll have to go search for it at Sephora and see what it smells like. 🙂

I totally thought that eye cream was a condiment. A packet with fruit on it? Definitely jam, haha!

Impressive empties post! I still need to work on mine…

Naturally, I am working around the house this long weekend and doing some Christmas decorating. Before closing out the month, I wanted to hop on and share some updates. It was a crazy week at home with appointments, taking care of a sick puppy, and managing a household, but I wanted to share some more lovely lacquers from SuperChic Lacquer. Today, I have Psycho from SuperChic Lacquer to share. This was just the perfect silver holographic crackle shade for Halloween since it was inspired by the film Psycho, and I thought a red glitter base would be the ideal pairing....
