Good afternoon everyone! You guys, look at me being all responsible with another post in 48 hours! The past year and a half have been really hard on me and I was slowly closing up from everything and fell into some pretty hardcore depression. I had gone to the doctor and while I do think the prescription helped in some ways, it hurt in others so, after a year of meds, I decided to stop and try changing my mindset instead of covering it up. It’s going to be tough and lots of hurdles but I think one thing that will be keying is connecting to my passions again. That all being said, I should be around a lot more, and hopefully, you guys will too.
One collection I received over the summer months to share was the new Dreamin’ Collection from Zoya. I’ve had it swatched but finding the energy to sit down and prep everything was tough. Again, these meds had me in full zombie mode. Here we are though and I am excited to finally be sharing with you all. The Dreamin’ Collection consists of 6 lovely summer shades, 5 cream and one shimmer. Let’s dive in!
First up we have Desi. This shade is described as a vibrant geranium coral cream. In my photos, I am wearing just two coats of Desi by Zoya.
Next up we have Polly. This shade can be described as a lush fruit-punch pink cream. In my photos, I am wearing just two coats of Polly by Zoya.
Now for a more purple-based pink. Darla is described as a Gerber Daisy pink cream. In my photos, I am wearing just two coats of Darla.
The next shade was one of my favorites from the Dreamin’ Collection by Zoya. Skipper is described as a milky purple neon. This shade dries matte but can be worn with a top coat to add a high shine finish. Zoya recommends Ultra Glossy Seal. Skipper is in the EasyNeon formula but includes the Standard brush and traditional black cap. In my photos, I am wearing two coats of Skipper with a glossy topcoat.
This next shade, which will be no surprise to regulars, was my favorite from the collection. Mateo is described as a cool-toned pacific blue cream. In my photos, I am wearing just two coats of Mateo by Zoya.
Lastly, we have the shimmering blend! Summer is described as a mermaid shimmer featuring flashes of green and gold with a blue base. This shade has a more jelly finish so the shimmer can shine so it’s a little less opaque than other shades from Zoya. In my photos, I am wearing three coats of Summer by Zoya.
So what do you guys think of the Dreamin’ Collection by Zoya? Summer was certainly the most unique from the collection and overall, a lovely collection. Be sure to check out the Dreamin’ Collection from Zoya, plus all the other great shades and products from them. I do have two more collections to share for them so keep your eye’s out for more upcoming posts! Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope to see you all again soon!
