Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are all having a fabulous weekend! We are having some of the best weather yet this season so I have been doing a little “fall” cleaning so today’s post will be on the shorter side of things. That being said, today’s post is also a bit negative so heads up!
Recently I had the pleasure of trying out the Delete All 5-finger nail polish remover from Formula X thanks to Influenster. The Delete All remover is a pot style product but on a much large scale. Instead of a single slit in foam, you have five which is pretty much genius but as with pot style removers, still has tons of downsides. My problem with pot type products is anything highly pigmented will stain everything and you end up with stained fingers, or using them for glitter removal leaves you with tons of glitter on your fingers. I have found over my years that pots are good for cremes that are on the lighter side of things and no shimmer or glitter. Now that you have narrowed down to what shades you can remove, you are then disappointed with the fact that this is an acetone product so you used acetone to remove a light shade that any non-acetone remover could have done.
So have you tried Delete All from Formula X? Overall, I do not like pot style removers but if you are someone who doesn’t wear bold colors and changes shades every few weeks then this may be a product to check out. If you are like me and like glitter, shimmers, holos, and bold shades….avoid! Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again soon! <3
Product provided for review but that does not influence my opinions.
I haven’t tried this brand – but another with the sponge and i didn’t feel like it worked long enough (or was efficient for long enough). The sponge got all polish covered and my nails would pick up the polish….maybe it was the acetone in it? Once it’s “done” I hope you do a post on how long it ended up lasting. For me the sponge was awesome for the first few days and I wish it lasted like that forever. 🙂
I’m not a fan of these either. Don’t blame you!
I have tried this, I liked how fast it took my polish off, but I am also not a fan of the pot style.
This probably wouldn’t work for me – gotta have my glitters and holos 😉
i liked the bourjois one for plain cremes but for glitter etc these just aren’t practical
I own and love to use this for the days I’m in a pinch and need my polish off ASAP 😀
I am really interested in trying this remover when I get back into doing my nails.
I have this, but have yet to try it. Looks really interesting, and I love the name! <3
