Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are all having a lovely Tuesday! While just a few days ago we could barely get out of the 20’s, today we are in the 70’s and possible will be hitting record highs on Thursday. With this beautiful weather, I’ve been spending some much needed times outdoors and feeling the sun on my skin. Spring is just around the corner and I am so looking forward to the flowers blooming, the grass turning green, and the leaves sprouting from the trees.

One of my favorite things to do during Spring time visits local botanical gardens and obviously, selfies must happen! One of my goals for 2019 was to treat my skin better and one way I’m doing that is making a serious habit of creating a morning and night routine. I went YEARS neglecting my skin so I’m trying to repair a lot of damage. In my skincare journey I have found a serious love for charcoal based products and that leads me to today’s product.

The Charcoal Magnet Mask by Biovene is one of those products I have been trying out recently. When I first saw this brand I was certainly intrigued. It’s a charcoal mask but instead of having to remove by scrubbing, which pulling of the skin ages so I try to avoid when I can, this mask is removed by using a magnet!

The Charcoal Magnet Mask from Biovene gives you everything you need to get started. You get a 3 oz. container of the signature charcoal magnet mask, a spatula, the super strong magnet, and magnet covers. I was a bit skeptical of how well this magnet would remove the product and was blown away. You could literally feel it pulling the product of the skin! It was super easy to use and muddy formula was easy to apply and dries quick.

The mask does have a mildly sweet floral scent but it didn’t seem to bother me any, and I tend to not like floral scents. The first time I used this mask I did follow direction and just rub the formula in after removing the mask itself but I had some irritation on the skin. I had three large welts on my cheek area but once I washed my face with my handy face wipes, they went away in just a few hours. The second time around I wiped my face off after use and had no issues.

How cool is that?!?! I will say be cautious when removing the magnet cover…the magnet will pick all this up and it’s a pain to clean off if you are in the middle of removing from face.

Overall I was pretty pleased with the Charcoal Magnet Mask from Biovene and priced at just $15 from Wal-Mart, it’s cheap and easy to get too!

I have yet to try a magnetic mask but I love the concept. Also good tip about the after cleaning! Sorry to hear you had welts the first time!

The welts would make it a big no, but the whole way it work is really cool!

It was a crazy week at home with appointments, taking care of a sick puppy, and managing a household, but I wanted to share some more lovely lacquers from SuperChic Lacquer. Today, I have Psycho from SuperChic Lacquer to share.
