Blackhead Acne Removal Activated Carbon Mask Set by My Scheming

October 17, 2016 by Nina 9 Comments

Good evening everyone!  I hope you are all having a lovely Monday.  Tonight I have a fun product to share with you guys.  I have been seeing these black carbon mask sets for sometime now and have been extremely curious on how well they actually worked.  As someone who is in love with Biore strips, the carbon masks looked like the holy grail.  Well needless to say I have finally decided to order some for myself.

I decided on the My Scheming brand due to the number of reviews on Amazon and the fact that prime meant I would have on a Sunday.  The Blackhead Acne Removal Activated Carbon Mask Set is a three product system that is fairly easy to use with great results if you do everything correctly.  For starters you want to steam your pores to really open things up.  My favorite options are either right after showering or doing a sink full of extremely hot water.  If you do the sink method just lean over the sink and use a towel draped over your head to capture all the glorious steam.  Next you will apply step 1.  You will leave this product on your face for just a few minutes and this will help soften things up.  You will wash step 1 off and you will want to leave your skin very wet, makes step 2 a little easier to apply.

Now for the fun part, step 2!  This is a very thick jelly like product that can be a bit tricky to work with but after a few times I got the hang of it.  You will leave step 2 on for quiet awhile, I found about 30 – 35 minutes, and you want to let it completely dry. Peeling this stuff off is super easy but can also be a bit painful.  For my first try I just did the major zones but second time I did full face.  Any and all peach fuzz will be ripped out and around your eyes can be quiet painful.  Think the best bandaid ever in the soft spot ever….yeah, you get the idea.  That all being said, I LOVED it!!!!  My skin was extremely soft afterwards and I immediately could tell a difference.  Now you will want to wipe off any access and apply step 3.  This last step will help close your pores back up and prevent any new containments from entering.

So have you guys tried this stuff yet?  I am addicted!!!!  Best money spent in a long time!!  I am already using this stuff twice a week and look forward to each time.  My husband loves it too, he gets a great laugh every time he walks in the room and sees me!  You can pick My Scheming Blackhead Acne Removal Activated Carbon Mask Set from Amazon and if you have Prime, free shipping!!!  Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will see you all again soon.

The packaging is so cute with the little cartoon black heads and white heads getting taken away! LOL So it’s a mask and a waxing hair removal experience too? haha 🙂

I like charcoal activated products. They seem to just suck out all the grime from my skin

I love these masks! I’ve only used the Boscia one, but I’ve heard very good things about this one. I agree, peeling it off kind of hurts, but it’s so satisfying!

I am always intrigued by these type of masks, but I don’t know if I would like to use it on a regular basis. I have a LOT of peach fuzz on my face, hahaha!

Naturally, I am working around the house this long weekend and doing some Christmas decorating. Before closing out the month, I wanted to hop on and share some updates. This month just flew by, and I am not in the Christmas spirit yet! November was packed with things: Zelda is finally vaccinated and can go out in public, we took a trip to Flordia to visit family, and we had a significant audit at work....

It was a crazy week at home with appointments, taking care of a sick puppy, and managing a household, but I wanted to share some more lovely lacquers from SuperChic Lacquer. Today, I have Psycho from SuperChic Lacquer to share. This was just the perfect silver holographic crackle shade for Halloween since it was inspired by the film Psycho, and I thought a red glitter base would be the ideal pairing....
