Good afternoon! I hope all has been well! Things have been crazy at my home and with a heavy bout of depression, finding motivation has been a little tough. I am trying my best to push through the brain fog and focus on some things I love….like nail polish for a little positive vibe.
Summertime is my favorite time of year for nail polish! Colors are super bright, vibrant, and so upbeat so when I saw the new Barefoot Collection from Zoya it was love at first sight! The new collection consists of 12 new shades that range from cremes to shimmers to even a new topper. There are so many shades to love in this collection and I am sure you guys will agree. Today’s post is super picture heavy so let’s dive on in!
First up we have a summertime color staple. Dacey can best be described as a classic hot pink cream, the perfect pedicure color. As with all of Zoya’s cremes, application and coverage were perfect. In my
Next up we have Rie, a cool-toned magnolia purple cream. I am loving this shade so much and see a silver glitter top being worn with it very soon. In my photos, I am wearing just two coats of Rie by Zoya.
Next up we have my favorite shade and a must for any blue lover. Eleni is best described as a light seafoam blue cream and everything about it is just perfect! This shade did apply a little patch but a third coat smoothed things out. In my photos, I am wearing three coats of Eleni by Zoya.
Now for another stunning shade and a close runner-up as my favorite. Walker is best described as a deep ocean blue cream. My photos are a bit darker than in person, it is slightly paler. In my photos, I am wearing just two coats of Walker by Zoya.
Now for you yellow lovers out there, yes there is never enough yellows! Bee is described as a bright and uplifting pale yellow with a warm undertone. First I have to say this shade works beautifully with my warm skin tone. Again, photos are a little brighter than in person. In my photos, I am wearing three coats of Bee by Zoya.
Next up we have that top coat I mentioned earlier. Dallas is a clear base blend with silver glitters, large white hexagonal glitter, and small white glitter. You could seriously wear this with any shade so that makes it a great versatile lacquer to own. In my photos, I am wearing just one coat of Dallas by Zoya overtop Dacey.
Now for something who wants something a little more toned down. Joey is a warm light pink cream. I am normally not a light pink/nude fan but I really love this shade. It’s so delicate! In my photos, I am wearing three coats of Joey by Zoya.
Now for some shimmers! Tessa is described as a soft peach toned salmon with a warm gold and coral micro-shimmer. The application was smooth and I ended up with a very opaque finish that still let the shimmer shine through. In my photos, I am wearing just two coats of Tessa by Zoya.
Next up we have another show-stopping shimmer that would be great for having some sparkle but keeping to an office environment. Keira is described as a medium sandy taupe with a light copper shimmer. In my photos, I am wearing just two coats of Keira by Zoya.
Okay now for a shocker for me. I normally don’t care for coral shades but Marcy totally stole my heart. Marcy is described as a shimmering bright, hot coral. This shimmer is so intense! In my photos, I am wearing just two coats of Marcy by Zoya.
Next up we have the last creme in the collection. Liza is described as a rich, cardinal red cream. This shade was probably my least favorite from Barefoot. Nothing wrong with it, just kinda boring compared to the rest of the fabulous colors. In my photos, I am wearing just two coats of Liza by Zoya.
Last up for the collection, we have Robbie. This shade is best described as a fizzy raspberry punch shimmer with a gold fleck shimmer. In my photos, I am wearing just two coats of Robbie by Zoya.
So what do you guys think of the new Barefoot collection from Zoya? Overall, AWESOME!!! The shades are vibrant and perfect for some days

Oh friend, I’m sorry to hear you’re not doing so well. As for the polish, I love the first few but they lost me on the back half of the collection. I just haven’t bought from Zoya in so long!

Zoya is pretty much my favorite mainstream brand. The colors and formula are stunning but then add in the cremes are perfect for stamping, double win!
