Good evening everyone! I have a new indie line to share with you guys this evening. Avant Garde Lacquer is a new indie line that has just started up in the past few weeks and has some lovely lacquers to offer. Amy is no stranger to the indie world, she was also the one behind Perception Nail Lacquer that closed up late last year in October. She took some time off and is now back with tons of new goodies. Tonight I am going to be sharing two new lacquers with you guys.
First up is Dancing Through Fire. The blend has a dark maroon, to purple, to brown color shift and a holographic shimmer. I used three coats to reach full opacity. I did not use a top coat in my photos and you can see how glossy the finish is. The blend was fairly easy to work with and is a lovely combination.
Next up is Same Love. This is a white crelly base with various colors of matte hexes and squares. Application was good and the glitter worked well in the base. I did not experience any clumping. I used three coats in my photos and one coat of Gelous to smooth it out.
So what do you guys think of this new line? I think the blends are pretty and the only issue I see some having is the price. All of her blends are $10 for 13 ml bottles which does seem a little high for a new indie line. To help off set the cost a little Amy has offered a 20% off coupon that is good today and may even be extended. Just use code 20HOLIDAY at the time of checkout. Please take a moment to brows the lacquers offered by Avant Garde Lacquer and be sure to give Amy a follow on Facebook for up to date release and special promos. Thank you for stopping by this evening and I look forward to seeing you all again tomorrow.
These were sent to me for review purposes but does not change my opinions.
