Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend! Today’s post is going to be short and sweet because I am getting ready to head over to Georgia for an awesome Walking Dead adventure. Before I head out though I wanted to share my 52 Week Nail Challenge post. This past week was amethyst themed for all the February babies out there. I wanted to use another Pixie Dust from Zoya and while I love the polish, it didn’t give me the gem feeling I was looking for.
For my amethyst themed lacquer I went with Alice from Zoya. This is a lovely purple lacquer with the signature Pixie Dust finish. Alice doesn’t have the jelly like formula like some of the other shades and leans more towards creme base. In my photos I am wearing three thin coats of Alice.
So what do you guys think of my pick for amethyst? Not exactly what I wanted but a pretty lacquer either way! Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will be back tomorrow with more of my Walking Dead adventure! <3

I love the Walking Dead and going to hit up a few of their filming locations and have an amazing dinner with a friend.
I see what you mean. I feel like the other Pixies were more “bright?” and this seems a tad dusty/muted? I’m trying to figure out what is off. I do love the color though.
It doesn’t have that jelly finish that some of the others have, I think that is what make them so bright and sparkle. Either way, I agree that is is a lovely color.

It is textured, but you can also smooth out with a good top coat. Great multi use lacquer.

I really love Zoya’s Pixie Dust line, their colors are soo vibrant! Great Swatches.
They are pretty amazing! I personally love the more jelly finish ones but even these are pretty.
I never really liked textured polishes, but the Zoya PixieDust shades were always so so gorgeous!
Zoya’s are the only ones I’ve liked. I’ve tried various ones and none compare to the Pixie’s!
I need to pull out some of my classic Pixie Dusts! I like the smoother ones.

It’s pretty color but I prefer the matte finish pixies more.
