Good evening everyone! Today I have a new to me indie brand to share with you guys. I was approached by Jaclyn, the maker of Aisuru Lacquer, to review her current collection and I was thrilled to have the opportunity. Aisuru Lacquer currently consists of five fun shades that I hope you guys enjoy.
First up is Hayashi (Forest). This is a rich forest green metallic shade with tiny gold holographic glitter scattered about. Application was fairly smooth and a manageable formula. In my photos I am wearing two coats of Hayashi and one coat of Gelous.
Next up is Nebyura (Nebula). This is a dark, plum purple metallic with light blue holographic glitter. This one was very thick but manageable, though I would probably added thinner next time. The color combo is nice and it does have a very spacey look. The downside I had with this one was the metallic dark purple highlighted the covered glitter and caused a “bumpy” look. In my photos I am wearing two coats of Nebyura and one coat of Gelous.
Next up is Harajuku. This is a lovely berry pink shade with red holographic glitter. This one was a little jellier than the others and I really liked. Application was great. In my photos I am wearing two coats of Harajuku and one coat of Gelous.
Next up is Atorantisu (Atlantis). This is a metallic blue blend with blue glitter and gold flakes. Now before I looked up on the site and saw Atlantis as the meaning I seriously thought this looked like an ocean topography map from my childhood. This blend was really thick and had a crinkle look when applied. I used just one coat of Atorantisu and one coat of Gelous in attempt to get a smoother look.
Lastly is Moesashi (Ember). This was a really pretty copper red metallic shade with fine gold glitter. Application was super easy and the formula was perfect. In my photos I am wearing two coats of Moesashi and one coat of Gelous.
So what do you guys think of today’s lacquers? While some of them didn’t have a look or consistence I tend to go for, the others were fantastic. It really all depends on personal preference. If you would like more info on Aisuru Lacquer please check out their Facebook page for tons of info. Thank you so much for stopping by today and I look forward to seeing you all again tomorrow.
These were sent to me for review purposes but that does not influence my review.
I really like Harajuku! That’s a great pink. These are all super unique.
