Good afternoon everyone! I hope you are all having a fantastic Wednesday. Today’s manicure is surely going to put a smile on your face. We all know I am crazy cat lady in training so when Born Pretty asked me to review for them I started looking for cat themed items. Along with these cute decals that I will be sharing, I also picked up a 7 Piece Nail Art Set to share too.
First let’s talk about the Born Pretty water slide decals. I have tried a few different types of water slides and these are honestly my favorite. Instead of placing a decal with paper backing on your nail, you soak these in water then slide the decal off the paper and on to your nail. Why is this better to me? Well you can see precisely where you are placing the decal so you can get the perfect spot. Plus these slide around on the nail for that extra detail in placement. These were so easy to work with and the image was just perfect! Big win for me!
Next let’s talk about the 7 piece Nail Art Set. The set is the perfect starter set, which is great for me, and has everything you need to create some cute designs. The storage pouch is well made and perfect for on the go or just keeping things organized. The brush quality is pretty good and for less than $6 bucks, you can’t go wrong.

So now for the awesome mani thanks to these great products. For my manicure I used OPI Alpine Snow, Above the Curve Crisp Autumn Air, Finger Paints Springtime Bloom, nail decals Happy Cute Cat, and sealed it all with Glisten & Glow HK Girl Top Coat. To create the dot pattern on one nail I used the dotting tool from the nail art brush kit and then for the accent nail with paw prints I used the dotting tool and one of the small detail brushes. First set of pictures are with direct lighting.

So what do you guys think of my little cat mani? Isn’t those decals just the cutest thing EVER?! I think I need to order two or more sheets so I have plenty of backups for the rest of my life, lol!
