Good afternoon everyone!  I hope all has been well this weekend.  Even though summer is getting close to its end, there is always a great time for neons and thanks to Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer we can get a good late summer fix.  This Monday Blue-Eyed Girl will be releasing a new 6 piece neon collection inspired by the Darjeeling Limited film called Leave the Sun Behind Me Collection.  These neons are packed full of flakes and shimmer so these certainly will not be like anything else in your collection.  Today we will take a look at three of the new blends from the Leave the Sun Behind Me Collection.

First up we have Look At These @#$holes.  This is an incredibly bright red neon with pink shimmering glass flecks.  Look At These @#$holes has some coral undertones and there for in my photos they look a little more orange than it is in person.  Application and formula were both very smooth and I experience no issues.  This blend does dry matte so I do suggest a top coat to get the most vibrant coloring.  In my photos I am wearing three coats of Look At These @#$holes and one coat of clear.

Next up we have Stop Involving Me!.  Okay, first things first….everyone needs to buy this color as soon as it is released.  You can thank me later.  Stop Involving Me! is an amazing highlighter yellow creme filled with copper shimmer and gold glass flecks.  I really can not begin to tell you how much I loved this blend.  Finding a good, true bright neon yellow is tough and Blue-Eyed Girl has finally created the perfect blend.  Now this did apply a little patchy but I found if you do your last coat very lightly, the patching is very minimal.  In my photos I am wearing four coats of Stop Involving Me! and one coat of clear.

Lastly today we have Thanks For Using Me.  This is a beautiful neon green with gold to green to blue shifting shimmer.  Once again I am in love with the color and shimmer is a nice added touch.  In my photos I am wearing three coats of Thanks For Using Me and one coat of clear.

So what do you guys think of the new Leave the Sun Behind Me Collection so far?  I am in love with these guys!  Finding good, bright neons that do not need a base of white is really hard but thanks to the new collection from Blue-Eyed Girl, my hunt is over.  The new Leave the Sun Behind Me Collection and the new Siren Series Limited will both be released tomorrow at 3:30 PM EST so be sure to set your watch.  Until then check out all the other amazing lacquers from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquers and give them a follow on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.  Thank you so much for stopping by today and I will be back tomorrow with the rest of the collection and the new limited. <3
