Good afternoon everyone! I hope you all have been having a wonderful week! It is been a very stressful and depressing time for me currently at the hospital so I have been taking some needed self-care….self drinks..and lots of naps to cope with the mayhem. I for once wish HIPAA wasn’t a thing so people could truly see inside the hospitals right now. But then part of me just says there will be those ones who think of it as the moon landing and staged. If I can say anything, it’s real and please for yourself and loved ones get vaxed! It’s the only way to get to some sort of normalcy.
I haven’t had much of summer due to work and financial stuff so believe it or not, I’ve only put a swimsuit on once only to have it turn into a failed trip. That being said, I still have been reminiscing over past summers which is what today’s nail art is inspired from. One thing I truly love during summer is heading over to my mom’s for a relaxing day in the pool. There is nothing better than some 80’s music on the radio, a cold drink, and on a float in the pool. For my pool-inspired look, I started off with two coats of Why, Hello! by Cuccio Colour. Next, I used Aquaholic with Saran Wrap to create a water look. Everything is as always sealed with two coats of Marvel Liquid Macro Top Coat by SuperChic Lacquer.
So what do you guys think of my pool-inspired look? Doesn’t it just make you want to kick back and soak in the sun? While I didn’t get much pool time this summer, I will be getting some beach time soon so maybe I’ll rock this look for the sand too.
